HD Video Tours. But Is it REALY High Definition Video?
Many “video” vendors market their product using deceptive names like “High Definition” and “full motion video”. They use these marketing terms in the hope that the exposure to them in the consumer electronics market will cause the agent to believe that the same HDTV production process, and thus the same qualitative result will be delivered.
Nothing could be farther from the truth. Typically, the result is a series of photographs that are digitally panned and zoomed to give the “appearance” of motion, and thus an simpler production process for the tour vendor. High Definition means motion pictures taken using a video camera that records using the HDTV specification and optics, not still images from a photographic camera.
Our production process provides you with far superior product. First, the property is shot using a true HDTV video camera, then the video is edited using professional non-linear video production software. And finally, the video product is conformed to the broadcast television and internet streaming video standards for delivery. With Illuminated Video you receive FULL MOTION, HDTV soured VIDEO, as we never produce a static slide show transferred to a video standard.
